The raffle
Artist Vanessa Barragão is showing her solidarity with Prometo Viver - For the Right to Be a Child by creating a work of art, the proceeds from the sale of which will be donated in full to UNICEF to support humanitarian efforts for children and families affected by the crisis in Gaza.

At a time when so many children face extreme living conditions, solidarity takes on an even deeper meaning. Every gesture counts. Every contribution can help bring protection, assistance, and hope to those who need it most. This reminds us that the right to childhood, to protection, and to a future full of opportunities should know no borders.
This initiative aligns with the mission of Prometo Viver, mobilizing the community through culture, generosity, and civic engagement.
The piece will be featured at the Teatro das Figuras in Faro during the PROMETO VIVER — For the Right to Be a Child gala, offering the public the opportunity to experience this creation up close and learn about the story of solidarity that gives it meaning.

The program
Every year, the Prometo Viver Association supports an emerging cause and an organization working to address it. We mobilize a community around that cause, raising awareness and turning solidarity into action.

The winner will be announced live at the “Prometo Viver – For the Right to Be a Child” Gala, which will take place at the Teatro das Figuras in Faro, Portugal, on November 5, 2026.
Even if you can’t attend the gala on November 5, you can watch the gala, the concerts, and the announcement of the raffle winner online.

All proceeds go to AIPAR, an association supported by Prometo Viver for this event.
If you’re unable to watch it live, you’ll be able to view the recording for 10 days.

Shipping costs are the responsibility of the winner.
The item may be delivered within mainland Portugal or, alternatively, picked up in person at Vanessa Barragão’s studio or at the headquarters of the Prometo Viver Association.
For international shipments, all costs associated with shipping, customs duties, and insurance will be borne entirely by the winner.
